GLP Appoints Julian von den Stemmen as Marketing Director After Ulrich Steinle's 17-Year Run

GLP has named Julian von den Stemmen as its new Marketing Director, effective July 1, succeeding Ulrich Steinle, who departs by his own choice after 17 years with the company. A structured handover period will ensure continuity across GLP's international marketing operations. Von den Stemmen arrives with a sharp cross-industry résumé: eight years at Robe Lighting, first as Head of Marketing for Germany, then as International Digital Marketing Manager, plus prior stints in product and technology management at BMW M and as Head of Marketing at Fanatec. His vision for GLP centers on shifting the conversation beyond spec sheets. Decision-makers buy impact, not data points, and the focus should be on showcasing the emotion fixtures make possible through real-world deployments, digital staging, and the language of creatives. Steinle's nearly two-decade tenure helped define how GLP communicated with the live entertainment industry, building a brand presence rooted in personal relationships and proximity to both the products and the culture. His departure closes a significant chapter. GLP managing director Udo Künzler described Steinle as part of the GLP family, noting their shared history of decisions, events, and evenings that went longer than planned.

Volux CueWash 300B Brings 5,500 Lumens and A 20-Hour Runtime

Volux continues expanding its footprint beyond moving heads with the CueWash 300B, a battery-powered LED wash fixture built around fifteen 20W RGBL LEDs delivering up to 5,500 lumens of output. It runs up to 20 hours on battery or connects to AC power when infrastructure allows, all inside an IP65-rated housing built for outdoor deployments. Wireless DMX control, smooth electronic dimming with flicker-free performance, and stand-alone or master/slave modes give operators flexibility across touring, corporate, and installation contexts without needing to run cable. The form factor is compact enough to go where the show goes, and an extensive accessory lineup including barndoors provides options for shaping light dispersion on site. Available in Black, White, or custom RAL colors, the CueWash fits into branding-sensitive installations and corporate environments where fixture aesthetics matter as much as output. Coming off the PHYTON debut at ULTRA and continued PHYSOS deployments, Volux is building out a full ecosystem, and the CueWash fills the battery-powered gap in that lineup.

115 Claypaky Midi-B FX Fixtures Hit Eurovision 2026 Through Concept Solutions' Major Fleet Expansion

Vienna-based rental house Concept Solutions GmbH has added 115 Claypaky Midi-B FX fixtures to its inventory and put them straight to work at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna. The units were deployed across several key production areas surrounding one of Europe's largest television events, including the media center and press stage, delivering dynamic visual effects and flexible performance across a wide variety of environments. CEO Florian Weber pointed to the fixture's fundamentally different moving-light concept as the driving factor: the Midi-B FX's ring effects produce strong visual impact without requiring haze, making it particularly effective for corporate events and broadcast environments where atmosphere machines aren't practical. Most competitors in this fixture class still rely on haze to sell the effect. The 115-unit investment positions Concept Solutions to offer the Midi-B FX at scale for international productions across Europe, reinforcing the growing demand for versatile hybrid lighting solutions in the high-end event market. Another high-profile validation of the Midi-B platform on a stage that millions of viewers see on screen.

4Wall Entertainment Consolidates UK Locations, Bringing Full-Service Offerings Under One Roof

As demand grows for single-vendor production solutions, 4Wall is continuing to streamline its European operations. The company has announced the consolidation of its UK locations, bringing lighting, video, rigging, and expanding audio services together under one roof. The move is designed to improve efficiency, strengthen collaboration between departments, and create a more centralized hub for supporting projects across the UK and Europe. It marks another step in 4Wall's broader strategy of offering clients a fully integrated production partner capable of handling every major technical discipline from a single source. The company has steadily expanded its UK presence since entering the market through its acquisition of HSL in 2019 and has recently increased investment in audio services alongside its established lighting, video, and rigging offerings.

Master FX Mystic 2: 10-Year Warranty, Dual Fluids, Largest Integrated Fan in Any Hazer

🔥➡️ Read More About The Master FX Mystic 2

We've spent a lot of time with the Master FX Mystic 2. Hands-on demos, side-by-side fluid tests, road tests with the crews who use it daily. The same theme keeps surfacing: the machine just works. Cleaning happens at 100 operating hours with a redesigned maintenance procedure built for speed. Integrated standby mode and voltage detection quietly extend the unit's life in the background. The Mystic 2 runs two different haze fluids, Obscure and Nebulous, giving operators real control over density and particle size without ever swapping machines. The system auto-calibrates heater temperature for each fluid. It carries the largest integrated fan of any hazer on the market, which translates to better particle distribution and longer throw without parking a separate fan unit next to it. The warranty is ten years. No other hazer manufacturer offers that. You buy direct from Master FX with free U.S. shipping, inventory is always in stock, and turnaround on service is typically a week. Designed and manufactured in the USA. The crews we've talked to, Volt Lites, Upstaging, Brown Note, keep saying the same thing in different words.
