You’ve seen fixtures try to be a wash, a strobe, and a blinder before. This one actually pulls it off. Robe’s iWTF!™ – Wash, Twist, Flash – takes all of that and rolls it into a single IP65-rated all-rounder that’s as fast as it is versatile.

Robe Lighting iWTF!: A Unique Twist
Strobe? Blinder? Wash? The Robe iWTF!™ checks all three boxes. In a crowded strobe/wash market this one swerves, spins, and blazes through them all — with a few unexpected tricks along the way.
Independently Zoomable Color Mixing Zones
The iWTF!™ is anchored by two RGBW color-mixing zones on the top and the bottom of the fixture. Each zone can zoom independently from 13° to 95°, giving LDs wide creative flexibility. In advanced control modes, each section can be broken into 8 controllable “pixels” (Robe calls them Multichips) for pixel effects and smooth color gradations.

From the front, those Multichips throw a kaleidoscopic look that’s pure camera candy — basically built for star-filter moments on a live broadcast.
Strobe Tube Element: Bright White To Amber
Down the middle sits the strobe tube, and Robe didn’t cut corners here. It’s packed with 72 pure white LEDs, 116 warm whites, and 88 ambers — a mix that lets you swing from an icy, retina-searing hit to a warm amber blinder that feels more like a growl.

And here’s where it gets fun: the tube zooms. Robe’s Hyper-Z™ linear zoom can clamp down to a 14° slice or blow out to a 97° wash. That means this isn’t just another strobe gag, it’s a tool you can actually shape into the atmosphere of the show.
Continuous Pan & Tilt
Movement is where the iWTF!™ breaks from the pack. Most fixtures in this category stop at tilt — maybe continuous tilt if you’re lucky. The iWTF gives you continuous tilt and pan. Because it pans like a real wash, you can actually point it at specific areas of the stage instead of just throwing effects into the void.
Put continuous pan and tilt together and you get this gnarly torpedo effect. That endless, kinetic twist that makes the whole rig feel like it’s in motion. It’s the “T” in Wash Twist Flash, and honestly, it's the part that makes the WTF name stick.

On The “i” Series Build
As part of Robe’s iSERIES, the iWTF!™ is built for any environment. It’s IP65-rated, integrates the RAINS™ active protection system, and uses POLAR+ standby tech to operate in extreme temperatures down to -50°C. All that durability is packed into a 30 kg (66 lb) frame.

Other Notable Features
Built-in strobe macros for quick, ready-to-go pixel effects.
5 control modes, from simple setups to pixel-by-pixel programming.

From Us
On paper, “wash” and “pixel control” sound straightforward, but in person, the iWTF!™’s Multichips have a hypnotic, kaleidoscopic quality that feels made for camera close-ups. In a live broadcast setting, this visual texture is begging for a star filter lens treatment.
One thing to note: at 66 lbs, it’s no featherweight. That extra heft means you’ll want to think about where and how it’s mounted, but the trade-off is the robust build and weatherproofing you get in return.

Wrap-Up
The Robe iWTF!™ isn’t just another strobe/wash hybrid — it’s a true multi-role fixture. Between its zoomable washes, zoomable strobe tube, full pan/tilt movement, and robust environmental protections, it’s hard to think of another single unit that could take on so many roles in a rig. For designers looking to cut fixture counts without sacrificing creative range and capability, it’s a compelling addition to the toolkit.
