Moving lights, also known as moving heads, are a crucial component of stage lighting design. They offer versatility and precision that static lighting fixtures can't match, allowing designers to create dynamic, engaging shows that captivate audiences. ML Madness 2023 is a bracket-style tournament featuring 64 popular moving lights from top manufacturers such as Robe Lighting, Elation Professional, Vari*Lite, SGM, Ayrton, Chauvet Professional, Martin Professional, German Light Products, Claypaky, Electronic Theatre Controls, and more. The bracket is divided into four quadrants, each representing a different category of moving lights: spot and profile fixtures, beam fixtures, wash fixtures, and bar & strobe fixtures.

Voting for ML Madness 2023 will occur in our Instagram story. Beginning on March 1, followers can visit our Instagram page to cast their votes for their favorite moving lights in each matchup. The voting will take place over several rounds throughout all of March. The moving lights that receive the most votes in each matchup will advance to the next round until only one ultimate moving light remains.

The other Final Four Finalists were the German Light Products JDC1, Martin Professional MAC Ultra Performance, and Robe Spiider.

This year's competition promises to be just as exciting, with 64 of the best moving lights going head to head in a bracket-style tournament.
